Getting Nervous

Default FrameGetting nervous is a completely normal thing to experience as a performer.   Even famous actors can feel a little queasy or end up with a belly full of butterflies before they get on stage. But nerves are good, they can help you to concentrate and make your performance full of energy and excitement. Sometimes performers can let their nerves take over, though, and this might make you forget your lines or remember your actions. Don't panic, just take a few deep breaths, try to relax, and tell yourself “I can do this!”, because YOU CAN! Remember, you're part of a great team working together and your teachers and audience are all on your side!
