Marking A Script

Marking your script will help you learn your lines and remember what your director has told you! Write your name on your script, then use a highlighter pen to highlight your own lines and song lyrics. Always have a pencil at rehearsals to write in any instructions from your director - and as directors change their minds, have a rubber handy too! You can put marks to show where you should pause in the dialogue, draw diagrams to show where you move and draw stick men to help remember dance moves (choreography). Marking your script like this will make your script even more useful to you when preparing for a show.
